Rim Question
I'm getting 17" rims for my ride. I have a 96 ex accord with eibach sportline lowering springs, I was wondering if i have to do anything before the rims get put on ei: alignment. Would it matter if i put the rims on myself or should I get it done by a shop?
The reason I am asking is because I did mine myself and it was a pain in the ***.
I think mine are 225 35 17s. I thought they were to small for the rim. Im not sure if it was because of the low profile or not. Im not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. I will never do that myself again, however that was my first time and I had very little instruction.

it's says 17x7. I have no idea what that means. I know that 17 stands for the rim size, what does 7 mean?

225 40 17 if you go any wider they could rub in front. My friend has 235 45 17 if Im not mistaken and his rub thats why I went a bit smaller. Hope this helps and good luck
thanks for the plug maing...he is correct...even though they are 18's they only weight about 17lbs...and i believe if i remember correctly it threw my speedo off by 2 or 3 mph.
