Car wont start.. tried everything, have fuel spark an comp.
it all started the other day, i was pulling 2 cel's for TDC and Igniter.. i knew my distributor was about to go up, i pulled out of my friends driveway, and it turned off on me, tested for spark, no spark.. so i called a friend, used his distributor to get me home, i gave it back to him, i bought a distributor from somebody, it didnt start my car, i tested for spark and all my plugs get spark, figured maybe not enough? put the distibutor on my friends car and it started his up, put his on mine it didnt start..
so im working with this.. i have spark, my distributor works, i tested for fuel, it squirts everywhere, i checked EVERY fuse under the hood and dash, i checked tranny ground, engine ground, fuel pump kicks on i can hear it loud an clear (walbro), i have the battery jump started on my truck when i try to start it, my timing id DEAD ON, my main relay clicks and if im gettin fuel id assume my main relay is working.
i dont understand what happen or what it could be.. can is crx, b16a swap, converted to obd1.. if that helps

Check the wiring to the distributor, if you hacked wires and spliced to accommodate the engine, now would be a good time to check them. Those sensors either work, or they don't, if its intermittent, its a wire. Check all the wires to the distributor, and splices along the way, and the ECU plugs, if you spliced those too.
If you didn't solder and heat shrink the wires, your going to have problems with any other wires you didn't do this to in the future, fix them all.

the only thing i did wiring wise to convert to odb1, is make my own distributor harness, and installed a 4 wire o2 sensor.. i used the boomslang ecu jumper harness, thats all plug and play.. and about the distributor harness.. my friend also has a crx with gsr swap, converted to obd1 and he also has a distributor harness which he made.. and i used his on mine to see if that was the problem.. still didnt start.. so i ruled out that as a problem.. and about the o2 sensor.. that i just wired and heat shrinked, the colors boomslang told me to .. i converted a while back.. so its not like i just had this problem after i converted.. but i do understand what your saying about wiring.
do u have power coming to the injectors??
i had similar instance on a z6 95 civic ex. it just would not start, but i had power to the injectors, i had fuel coming through the rail, i can hear the fuel pump kicking on, i had spark, i put a known working ecu, and distributor, on, NOTHING, it did not want to start.
when i sat and thought about it, i noticed the grounds on the vehicle were NOT ORIGINAL. the previous owner had used your regular speaker wire, the kind u use to wire up subs and amps.
i replaced those with stainless steel braided grounds and it fired right up. the grounds i changed were the one going from the chassis to the transmission, the one going from the rad support to the valve cover/head, and i added one going from the driver side shock tower to the intake manifold...

yea the grounds are still very good shape and original grounds.. i tried starter fluid today an it still did not start up..
anyone got any other suggestion i could try.. starting to get irratated.
edit: i am pulling code 20 for electrical load detector.. anyone know what this is for? a friend of mine has the same code, but his car still starts and runs fine.. i dont think this would stop me from starting.
