We just finished up a prelude for a local customer. This is the second gt30r we have put on a h22 this year, and I must say its about the perfect turbo for a mild/streetable setup.

Setup:
Stock H22
SynapseTurbo h22 Manifold
3" DP
Custom backdoor intercooler (core 20x11x3)
2.5" Chargepiping
3" Exhaust
GT30r .82 a/r
Tuning @ 9.5psi with Neptune

 

Nice car and clean setup, but i dont see a point to run a GT30r at 9.5psi.

The car is a stock block, and the gt30r seems to suit the car extremely well as you can see how fast the turbo comes on and holds the tq to redline. He plans on building the the motor in the future and turning up the boost.

 

very nice, from what we've seen(and from a budget POV) a holset HY35 is a great budget turbo for the h22.
