Default Too stiff ????

hi everyone , i am looking to buy the skunk2 adjustable coilovers and shocks , but the spring rates for the coilovers are 8k in the front and 6k in the back.

my question is .... Is this too stiff for a daily driven 92 civic si (hatchy)

thanks

well if it's any concelation (sp), i believe that 6/8K setups are commonly referred to as "street" setups as opposed to "track"

every street setup i've ever heard of has been 6/8.. every track or drag use setup has been either 8/10 or even 10/12..

i don't know of anything softer than 6/8 either..

^thanks guys for the responses , The thing is that i have found a good deal for skuk2 coilovers and shocks ...i can get them for 495 shipped.

if i were to go with something else it would be like 600 + shipping , and im on a budget here.

i really have no idea what to expect . and i just hope that ill be fine with 8k/6k .

i drove my buddies eg with the 6/8 setup. Felt loose to me in corners and all his suspension components are tight... car felt like it wanted to sway when i threw it in a corner. As far as daily driving it rides smooth.

I kinda like the stiffer setups but thats just my opinon

I have heard that the seals in the shocks are junk and blow out.
