08 DX Vs. LX Differences?
I've been thinking its about time to retire my 91 Si as my daily driver and replace it with a new 08 Civic coupe. My requirments for the new Civic is simple, low price, good gas mileage and just enough performance to make me not hate driving it.
The Si is out of the question, price tag and MPG push it out of daily driver territory for me. This leaves me with the DX, LX and EX as my choices. The EX really has no performance over the LX other than rear discs and it come with a heavier price tag and curb weight which makes the LX and DX more appealing in my eyes.
After looking over all the specs for the EX and LX on honda.com i had figured the LX was the car for me due to it having a better steering ratio (13.62 vs 13.73) and the LX having a 10mm rear sway bar and the DX having no rear sway bar at all.
My choice was made up on the LX until today my girlfriend stopped and the Honda dealership and grabbed a 08 Civic booklet for me to look at. According to the booklet, both the LX and DX have the same steering ratio and the DX actually has the same rear sway bar as the LX.....
So what is right, the booklet from the dealer or honda.com???

Pretty sure all of them comes with radios. Just maybe not a cd player.
my dxg came with a cd player, aux input, ac, pw everything, and hfp kit (just a honda dealer add on).
i've heard some weird stuff about the differences between the dx and the lx's. apparently things like the the hfp suspension for the lx and ex does not fit the dx? is this true as well? apparently the part numbers for the shocks are different between dx and lx.

that totally sucks how the US dx comes with absolutely nothing as opposed to the CA dx.
