that or its not an h22. which is stupid becuae its a "one of a kind" engine so to say. nothing looks like it. unlike the b series motors.

You bought the car like that? You might be able to get away with just getting your car crushed. But just don't draw attention to yourself and or give a cop a reason to pull you over. Not saying you have these but Do you really need the oversized **** can and loud exhaust? No. Do you really need that dark tint where you can't see out of your windows at night? No. Do you really need those 15 inch subs in the trunk rattling to Lil Wayne? No. Do you really need to try to race and speed every time you drive? No.
Don't draw attention to yourself, be a responsible driver and you'll be fine.
Plus I think there's something about cops not being able to go through your car without a warrant I think, I guess the engine bay counts as searching the car.
and judging by the picture on your avatar, that's an intercooler, way to draw attention!

No that was my old car this is one that i just bougth today But I just talked to the guy about returning it, so i'm driving down to his houst tonigt and getting my money back...
Sounds like a plan but really, there's no need to draw attention if you want a fast car or a loud car, something you can race, do it at the track in a car that was built for the track, honestly an exhaust won't get you enough power to take on a Cobra for example, so it's just drawing attention.
h22a = jdm. So, does it really matter if the serial number is there or not? Even if it has a serial number, it won't match the USDM VIN. The cops will probably think it's stolen anyway unless you have the proper paperwork.
Just be a man, and suck it up. DON'T, I REPEAT DON'T JBweld the scraped off part AND DEFINATELY DON'T SAND IT SMOOTH, AND SUPERMEGAULTRADEFINATELY DON'T TAP IN YOUR OWN NUMBERS.

yep sux to live in southern cali... I have a jdm motor but with the HMO stamp on it... so that was sufficient enough for me, b/c the cop did pull me over and popped my hood and saw the stamp... and I was let go..

theres some shops that can stamp ur motor to whatever u want it to be, but if they run the vin ill suck, yeah and Cali cops sucks ***, pull u over and ask to pop the hood right away
I'm glad that kind of crap doesn't happen here in Indy. I guess it's fair since you guys get the nice weather.
Can you call Honda and give them you VIN and ask what the original code was?

Here in Kansas they run an initial VIN inspection along with checking the numbers on the engine, but that is when you register your car for the first time. They do that in place of a safety inspection. Pretty stupid in my opinion. They want to make sure you don't have a stolen engine, but they don't give a **** if your car falls apart on the road.
Yeah, we get away with way more here in KC than you Cali people do. I see people driving around without mufflers and 5% tint blasting their subs and the police just drive on by. I'm pretty sure you can mod your car almost anyway you want engine-wise in KC and its not illegal.
