Default Looking for cylinder head opinions

Quick Question,
I wanted to get for my car the following, since my head is stock:
type R cams, springs and retainers
and possibly IM, and TB
I have some people telling me to get a valve job from InlinePro as well, but this costs $1500...Im trying to figure out if staying with my current setup re-tuning with type R cams, spring retainers, IM, TB for 14.5lbs what would be the HP difference between getting a valve job from InlinePro vs. not getting a valve job for my specific setup.

my set up is as follows:
b18c1 with arias 9:1 pistons
titan rods
ls crank
stock b16a head
t3/t40e 57trim .63ar
precision fmic 600hp
inline pro mani
turbosmart wg
turbosmart boost controller
walbro 255 fuel pump
550cc injectors
hondata s100 with boost
tuned by inline pro for 1bar 14.5lbs...
made 320whp on conservative tune

Thanks for any help
Ryan

If the head works fine and has no issues, run it as it is. From the looks of your setup you don't seem to be wanting to conquer the world, so just keep it simple. Make sure the head is intact, slap it on, and have a great day.

For 320whp you dont have to touch that head. Springs and retainers are a good idea but definately not necessary. A stock head/manifold/tb/etc have made over that. In the newest honda tuning magazine They used a stock b16 except a set of low compression forged pistons and made 506whp on 24psi. Everything besides the pistons were bone stock. Obviously the fuel setup was changed...but everything else stock.

Just to re-state...I have already made 320whp...
I just wanted some opinions...
my stock b16a head with: type r cams, springs, retainers, TB, IM
vs.
head from InlinePro with valve job, type r cams, springs, retainers, TB, IM

the reason being; InlinePro charges $1500 for valve job but I'm not sure if the horsepower gains will be worth the money...I plan on keeping my setup the same tuned on 1 bar or 14.5lbs...

thanks again

And you've received 2 opinions. Both are not to worry about the head at all in terms of "work" for boost. In many of these cylinder heads, we've only seen about a 25cfm flow difference from stock. You could do a lot more w/ the $1500. The reason for this thinking is because many here have done that expensive option, and found it wasn't worth it at all.

1500 is just for the machine work not parts? a valve job isnt going to give you near 1500 dollars worth of performance in other areas. save the money and sleeve a block on the side. the stock ports/valves can outflow what a stock sleeved motor can handle.

Try PORTFLOW, i think it's around 350-400 buck for a very good quality valve job!
