i searched and got nothing.

i was wondering what ac can i use for my 96 ek hatch with an h22?

i was told stock 96-00 civic ac's wont work cuz of the:

bracket
alternator in the way
belt wont fit.

if you have any info please let me know. its gonna be a hot one this summer.

 

You need to stuff your condensor as far forward as you can and you also need to run a "pusher" fan that goes on the front of the condensor. You'll need to make new brackets after you move the condensor forward. Typically, you will also have to chop up some AC lines and have someone do a little TIG welding to get everything lined back up. H22 compressor and bracket is what you'll use. IIRC, you will also need to remove one bolt on the driver tow hook so you have a little more room to put the belt on.
