Default H23 internals max power

I can't seem to find the maximum horsepower stock h23 internals can handle. Thanks in advance.

It's all about tuning, not max HP. The ringlands on the pistons are the weakest link.

there is no set limit.

one could blow up at 200whp and one could blow up at 350whp.

too many variables.

Well I'm looking into running e85 with a 50 trim. I figured I could run 6-8psi dd on pump gas, but could boost a lot more running e85, in which case I would gain a lot of power and was wondering if there was recommended limit not to pass with stock internals. I was told I could get close to 300whp on stock internals running e85. How is 6-8psi compare to with e85? How much could it handle I mean...

Even tuned properly I'm sure there's a hp limit on the stock cast pistons. You might want to post this question in the Forced Induction forum.

A hp limit? keeping i mind that the record for a stock H is over 500whp, I doubt he would be getting anywhere near that limit.

Who did that on stock pistons?

Yep the owner was "this one" and the car was tunned by stoopid. The bottom end was completely stock, including the pistons.

turbonetics 50 trim. That shouldn't matter anyway, I just want to know how much I could do on stock internals with e85 since it runs so much cooler.

If I were you I'd pick a small and efficient turbo and shoot for 250-275hp. You'll actually let your bottom end last and your engine will stay responsive.

lol, just because you have the turbo doesn't mean you have to use it.. Do u have any means of tuning? Turbo + Stockblock boosting = Reliability ?
