I recently was running a stock bottom end with a .50/.63 trim T3/T4 on 8psi. Now that i'm building the block with Eagle H beam rods and Vitara pistons and a block guard, I want to upgrade to a better turbo. I don't think the .50 trim is going to be efficient for the amount of boost i plan on running meaning that I think I will deal with alot of heat with that small of a compressor and not be able to make as much power of have a turbo failure.

Any ideas on what size turbo would be good for my built D series, i've read on turbod16.com that guys a running dseries with built blocks with stock heads and producing 400+whp.

 

stick with that turbo. also, find a diff site to get <u>useful</u> info from. td16 is like h-t but only with d series.
