How difficult would it be to change a distributor on this car? I'm new to all of this so any help would be appreciated.
The reason I'm asking is it needs a new distributor and I don't know if I should buy it or not.

 

Dizzy is real easy to change. You remove 3 bolts and the wires and voila.

edit- And if you cant figure that out I can prob come help you out with it since you are semi local to me.

 

Its a 10 minute install. As mentioned, only 3 bolts, and 2 plugs

 

you have to make sure the timing is right as well. you cant just slap it on and expect it to work perfectly.

 

yes, make sure the motor is at spark tdc, then proceed to removal and install.

just mark the position of the old dizzy, put the new one on in the same posistion. easy

FYI a new distributor costs over $300
