lets see some pics of this..i dont know how someone can throw a price out without having any idea what is wrong with this thing. "some" rust to one person could be a LOT of rust to a body man. its not just about teh rust you can see, but how far back it goes into the panel, wether or not its through the inner wheel housing, or the rocker panel. that all affects how much needs to be replaced, and thus how much labor is involved.

when you say you need some new panels, what panels are you needing? you want the entire car repainted? same color, new color? post pics and as many details as possible. and the closer the pics are of the damage the better.

i want it fully painted the same color. i think the left door panel def needs replacing, theleft front fender....and the black trim all around the car...also all that rust must go!!!!!

do you want the quarters replaced? or are you looking to patch them? in my own personal opinion, replacing them is the way to go. its a permanent repair, not a hack job to make the car look nicer.
its really about what you are looking to accomplish though. if you want to make the car look nice so you can get rid of it, i would patch it. if you have intentions of keeping the car and making it even nicer, the only way to go is a full replacement. just out of curiousity, what would you consider a "reasonable" price for that repair? what i consider reasonable, and what someone out of the industry might consider reasonable could be very different.
also, i would say you are right to want to replace the fender and door. the door, from the pictures looks like it could be straightened, but the question you have to ask is for a similar price, wouldnt you rather have a door that doesnt have a giant filler spot?
