Default 18" hfp wheels

Looking online at getting the 18'' HFP wheels, can only find them listed for the 06 and 07, assuming this is due to the TPMS, is there away to use these wheels and not lose that system, or is there another reason why they arent listed for the 08?

The reason why you are seeing 06-07 listed for the wheel is that Honda changed the design slightly for the '08 HFP's. For the '08 models the area where the valve is was indented slightly on the inside part of the wheel to better fit the pressure sensors. In the 08 model the sensor will lay flat against the inside of the wheel. The 06-07 will work with TPMS. There will be about 2mm of space between the sensor and the inside of the wheel though. Just make a shim of foam tape or something and it should fit nice and good. The wheel finish was also changed in 08. The earlier models (06-07) were a bronze color and the new models are more of a silver. Check out http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext06.html and you will see pictures of both. They also say that the 08 HFPs they sell include TPMS sensors already installed. Hope that helps.
