i am trying to paint my engine bay the same color as my car. The orginial color of the car is black, and just got painted burnt orange, although the engine bay is still black. enable to get this done what is it that i will have to take off my bay to have it painted.

Here is a pic of my bay as of now how it sits. (look at the hood painting it that color)

 

To do it right strip every last nut bolt and bracket... it's less than a days work to make the job that much better...totally worth it.

 

i just did mine. i just did a single stage. and it looks better then the outside of the car. I would high advice you to just take your time. take everything out. mask off everything. i took some short cuts but it was still worth it.
