Lowest/Furthest Back Seat/Bracket/Slider Combination Available...
Ok, I'm tired of this, I've tried different companies, different setups, and nothing's working the way I want. I want a comfortable seat, that sits substantially lower than stock, and as far back as possible. This Sparco Speed is the most uncomfortable seat I've ever sat in, but it sits lower than stock. This Corbeau Forza is comfortable, but sits at stock height. I can't win.
I just want to sit as low/far back as I possibly can, in a comfortable seat. Non-reclinable, or reclinable.
Being 6'6", with most of my height in my legs, is a great disadvantage in motorsports.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm wide open to them. I'll spend whatever, I don't care at this point. However, I'm not looking to spend much more than $1,000 for a seat and sliders/brackets though.
Any input is welcome, and greatly appreciated.

That's what I've come across... I'm thinking Bride Zeta III with Mugen rails might be a decent option.

Schweet... Would it go pretty far back? How's the shoulder comfort? I have decently wide shoulders.

I understand the distance from the pedals part, being 6'3" I'm not exactly a midget...
but I've found in cars with height adjust seats that it hasn't made much of a difference for leg room

Hi,
I'm 6'2" with disproportionately long legs. I have an OMP seat that I'm going to install, with custom brackets, to the original side rails. That should allow me to move the seat back a couple inches.
You might need one of the Carbon/Kevlar molded seats to get your butt down lower. Check width and comfort before buying.

Have you tried a Del Sol seat Jordan? Not the most comfortable design but has to be the lowest OEM seat you'll find that is a direct bolt-in. Combine that with a 330/350mm aftermarket wheel and you'll have all kinds of clearance.
I want to keep either my OEM Type-R, or an aftermarket seat. I don't want to get a Del Sol seat.
I wish there were a way to make my OEM seat sit lower... I have it apart on the table right now trying to figure something out to make a custom bracket. We'll see how it goes.

Try the Vison Super Low rails w/ any Recaro seat. You could use them w/ the JDM ITR Recaro's(bottom mount) or and any side mount bucket w/ the Recaro sidemounts.
The Vision rails w/ the ITR seats drops you considerably. Roughly 1.5 inches. Only thing is, the seats are flat versus the stock seat bracket rearward angulation. It's worth a shot. There was a Vision set on Ebay a few days ago. They sold for cheap too...$140 for a set.

As I've mentioned to you before, I believe the Del Sol seat pan is the key. If you read the page of this thread, http://www.team-integra.net/se...=1009, the guy comments that this swap dropped him 2-3" lower than an OEM Teg seat. Now the seat foam may have something to do with that as well, but I've contemplated myself how much drop I'd get if I swapped the OEM ITR lower seat cushion/rails onto a Del Sol pan.

Vision super low rails w/ the bucket seat of your choice.
but from the sound of it.. a Zeta 3 sport would be a good choice for you.
I had vision super low rails and my bucket seat was a little less than 1" off the ground.... I could barely fit my fingers in there when something rolled under there.

The buddy club rails are very low as well. You also need to factor in the side mount brackets as some still put you too tall. I just put in a sparco evo with buddy club rails and it was very low.
If you do need the most height then the other alternative is top bolt the seat right to the floor pan of the car...

the memoryfab or vision rails allow you to place the seat much lower than the mugens. I can't even fit a finger under the rear of my seat and have about 6-8" of space from the top of my head to the ceiling. I dont' have the seat slid all the way back either.
<---6'4 with most of my height in my legs. Anyone under 5'8 can't even see out of my car sitting in the drivers seat. Perfect for me though.

You might wanna try to PM "Lo-Buck EF" - He has a HC EF, and dude is super tall, at least 6 ft+.
I felt bad for him when he had to instruct me, and was also wondering later on why my seat was slid so far back

I'm 6'4 and Spence has an inch or 2 on me. He has/had a sweet driver set up in his red EF. He was on the floor, lol
He may be a good person to contact.
