brakes question
i already did one side. i usually take a screw and screw it into the little holes and push the drumm off. well i tryed to do it on the driver side and it just strip the threads. how do you guys take the drums off. i need to know asap please and thankx.
1. make sure e-brake is off
2. have a good weighted hammer
3. whack the drum.
note* the drum since you already know from doing the other side is just basically a slip on type deal. so if you hit the drum on the top, so that it is pushed in, and then hit the bottom, which should be pushed out, the drum should pop/fall off.
kinda like this: whack the top till its kinda like this / then hit it to make it look like this \. when \ happens it should fall off.
sorry best way to describe with out photo shop

you don't have to hit that hard, unless there is a lot of rust. a few good whacks on one side then the same, to get a tetter-totter effect. (guess i should of said it this way first)
edit* to the other side
