brake pedal wayy too hard
well just got done doing a clutch and rebuilding my tranny on my k swap in my 01 itr and installed a rbc im. now when i got in the car the pedal is extremly hard and the car wont stop for ****. and yes there is brake fluid in the lines and the vacum line is hooked up to the manifold. now i havent tested yet to see if its sucking now or even know y i wouldnt be???? was wondering if someone could shed some light on the matter thanks guys
did you bleed the system? if you open the bleed screw is the pedal easier to push in? any signs of leakage around the master cylinder (check inside the car near the pedal at the pushrod/seal and in the engine back by the cylinder). does the pedal move at all or it wont even move? make sure the valve on the brake booster cable isnt the wrong way?
well i went outside to check the vacum lines and its getting no vacum from the intake manifold and dont know y its not?? and it doesnt seem cloged either
Brake booster hoses often have a 1-way check valve inside of them to help keep vacuum in the IM and not let it leak back into the booster. It's easy to switch the ends of the hose around when you put it back together, and doing this will cause the booster to not get vacuum. As RTW said, blow or suck on the ends to figure out which way it should go.

it pulls vacuum INTO the IM, so you can just disconnect it from the booster, start the motor, and see if its pulling vacuum INTO the IM. if its not, the valve is not working or its installed backwards.
