Default brake problem.

so after i did the motor swap on the car, my brake pedal feels as if the car isnt runnin. u known when u hit ur brakes when the car isnt runnin and they are really stiff. thats how they are when i drive. is the master cylinder not gettin enough engine vaccum? do i need to bleed the system?

I say that the brake booster is not getting proper vacuum or it is faulty. If the brakes needed to be bled, the pedal would be spongy. Do your brakes work normally besides the increased pedal effort?

You can physically check the vacuum line from the intake manifold to the brake booster. Try disconnecting the vacuum line (block it with tape or a plug to prevent excess air from entering the intake manifold) and seeing if the pedal effort changes at all.

Does your braking power increase if you pump the pedal? Does the pedal sink if you apply the brakes for any length of time?

no breakin power doesnt increase when i pump the pedal. ill try checking the vaccum lines first because im sure theres a line i didnt hook up after i did the swap.

Inspect the check valve (part 7). Does the booster make any sucking noise associated with an idle speed increase when the brake pedal is released?
