Default Fields VTEC controller harness for ODBII?

I did a search and I didn't find the answer - I thought I saw this discussed at some point, so if I just didn't look hard enough, someone point me to that post.

Otherwise, is there such a thing? I got my Fields VTEC controller and want to hook it up to my 2000 ITR ECU with the LEAST amount of possible factory warranty voiding cutting-of-wires as possibe. haha! (as in, no cutting if I can avoid it) After all, I'm already not the "favorite" Acura owner at our local Acura dealer as I now own 2 sets of gunmetal R wheels after a nasty tire-mounting incident!

So what to do, recommendations? Thanks all!

I wonder if Kenji can make you one...

they do have a harness, but I believe it's only for the 97-98 ones...too expensive, I just spliced into my ECU...not worth 150+ for it

Heh, already wrote him... he said my best bet would be a Field harness cause his would cost more to make... I wrote him back and told him I'm ODBII so we'll see what he says.

anyone else know? How likely am I to actually void the warranty by splicing it into the ECU?

if it's computer related, you'll definitely void it....but I've had warranty work done on my car w/ mods....just depends on the relationship you have w/ your dealer....

I've found a field harness and something that Skunk2 makes, both seem to imply it will work with a '00 ITR, but then they say OBD1 so I'm just confused...

anyone know where to find this harness?

Yes, Feld makes a harness for the 00-01 ITR OBD II, I have one in my car originally used with the Field and now converter to use with the Apex-i. Absolutely zero cutting into the factory harness. Plug an play. If the car goes into the dealers it can be put back to stock in 20 minutes. I got mine from Matt @ Landspeed Racing in AZ 1 888 697-7333 about 2 years ago for about $180.00

Landspeed doesn't still carry it - they said they weren't sure where to look. Anyone have any ideas?

Yup, he says $220 - ouch. Is paying $220 worth not voiding my warranty? Hmmm, and someone has already told me about having their warranty voided because of it....

anyone know where to find one of the Fields ones for less than that? like $150? I'll make it worth your while

called Group-A and they said they have them...

I saw field vtec harnesses on another site that said they were Skunk2 but Skunk2.com doesn't even have them on there. weird...
