IACV: code 14 w/ new p13, but not w/ p28 + uberdata???
I just installed a JDM obd1 p13, and now I have a cel for 14 (iacv) and the car is running like garbage. Low idle, jerking, the works.... When i swap back to my p28, it runs fine!! I opened up the ECU, but i didn't see any burnt components or anything.
Ive never had an issue w/ my iacv, and the electirical connections are fine....
WTF?!

On your uberdata program, who tuned it?
YOu can tune an ECU to function without an IAVC that might be your issue. Your IAVC might actually never have worked right.
Also why are you switching ECU's?

its a basemap from j-k-tuning.com, im not sure if its disabled or not.... I'm switching to the P13 to spray nitrous w/ the zex management system. I dont want to run on a basemap, and i cant afford 300$ for a tune at the moment

with the ignition on, the yellow/black wire (ground) should get battery voltage.
If yes, test the voltage at the ecu and body ground - http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd1.htm - connector A, pin 9. Should get battery voltage
If yes, jumper the IACV pin (9) with the A23. The iacv should click. If it doesnt click try another ecu.
