Default automatic tranny shifting issues. advice

I have a 1992 accord ex with 104k on it. The transmission seems to shift good some times and other times it feels like it is slipping in first and reverse. If you give it a good amount of gas when moving in those gears its fine. But if you pull away from a light or back up slowly it feels like its slipping or something is binding up. What can I try? Fluid Change a good idea? Thanks
