EGR Vacuum Control Valve and Solenoid H22
My H22A doesn't seem to have come with either of these two parts. I can't hook my EGR valve directly to vacuum or it will just stay open all the time.
Can someone snap a pic of what the vacuum routing looks like coming off the EGR, and where the VCV (vacuum control valve) and control solenoid is mounted?

The vacuum line coming from the EGR valve is supposed to go directly to a vacuum source. The electrical connector on top is what makes it open and close.
there should always be vacumm to the solenoid but not to the valve. The valve should only open while the engine is hot and at steady cruise. So your answer is most likely no they are not different, I cant see how they would be. The solenoid itself may be different or mounted differently but the egr valve can never see vacuum all the time (always open).

Oh, you're right, I have had mine hooked up different for a long time now...
Sorry about that, do these help?

From what I see number 5 has to be linked somehow to 17 or 18 so that there is a vacumm source there. But i dont see anything in that diagram. Yes the vacumm routing is different but the concept still has to be the same.
