help with some troubleshooting

the car is a 1993 honda accrod lx. the car was running fine last night, last time the car ran was at around 11pm last night when my dad got home from work. at about 2pm this evening when he tried to start the car, it wont start, it cranks but it wont start. you can still hear the fuel pump when it is on the on position, there is still gas, i tried jumpstarting the car but it wont start too.
anyone know whats wrong...

1. Test the battery
2. Check all fuses
3. Are there any codes stored in the ECU? Check for stored codes using the SCS short connector method.
4. Check for spark at the plugs;
Remove one of your spark plugs. Re-attach the plug wire and place the end of the spark plug against a steel part of the engine block aka grounding the spark plug. While you or someone else turns the car over, watch for a little blue spark firing @ the end of the spark plug. That will tell you if there is spark or not.
If there is no spark you will be looking at ignition trouble shooting. Main relay, Coil or possibly the igniter.
