Default Brake problem! Help

Hi guys, I'm new to this board, but basically i have a 2000 r with a jackson racing supercharger, aem short ram and dc sports 4-2-1, but after i had the headers installed, for some reason, my brakes became rather hard, i took it to the dealer, and the dealer tech said said that because the jrsc is tapped into the brake booster it was sapping out boost. So he installed a check valve, which apparently had been missing during the jrsc installation. Well lo and behold, nothing happened. My brakes are still hard to push down as ever. My brake pads are fine right now, so i'm not sure what it could be.. i'd appreciate any help.

If you guys know any good shops in the los angeles area, please tell me.. this problem is driving me nuts... arghh

I am unable to help you regarding the hardness of your brake pedal but I am rather curious as to why the JRSC would be tapped into the braking system for any reason at all.

Unless it is to remove boost under breaking. But then wouldn't the addition of a check valve on that line create an oil flow problem?
