ok so i have a d16a6 motor with leaky vavle seals and all of yesterday it would not stay running. it would get enough power to run for like 3 sec. once i turned the key but then it would just die. I bought new plugs, ditributor, rotor wheel, and wires. Yet this still did not fix my problem. checked the fuel pressure it was good. My timing might be off but if you have any suggestions i would really appreciate it.

 

What is your fuel pressure at?
Does it stay running if you open the throttle?
Was it running before?
Any fault codes?

 

Their is fuel pressure but i dont know the exact pressure rating. Before i used to have to open the throttle to have to get it started before but i did not have to it every time and now it will not run it will start for five seconds and then shut right off.

 

ur idle maybe too low?
