Who makes the best fitting carbon fiber hood, that attaches to the oem latch and everything...i don't want to drill or customize it to fit? companies...
also if anybody has any knowledge of visracing.com hoods?

whoa geek hahah haven't heard that used outside of VW's and he has stopped making hoods my fren has one of his last hoods on his mk3 gti...

fiberimages, i would say benen but those fools are on backorder for ever. i hear a lot of good stuff about the new VIS hoods

 

yea that's what i've heard recently...i mean i see these other cheap hoods...but i don't want it to fly off when i'm going down the freeway...i'll see if i can a get a hold of fiber images..if not i'm off the vis...

That happened to a friend of mine on I 95. He was going like 85 and he didnt have pins and his hood flew up and shattered his windshield. Messed everything up...lucky he didnt die..

 

yea...happened to a friend mine also...except the hood just flew off..

 

if you go to the fiber images website....i dled a video where they show them throwing a 17" rim w/ tire on top one of their cf hoods..not even a scratch or crack! i saw that and said..WTF! i want one!
