Car needs alignment? How bad is it?

At 50mph, it takes roughly 5 seconds for the right side tires to hit the lane paint. Is this really bad? Would it mess things up if I left it like this for a few months, because it doesn't bother me in the least. Thanks.
Tire pressure imbalance, road crown, or vehicle load can cause what you describe. Minor alignment problems will show up more as an uneven wear pattern on the tires. Of course, severe misalignment would make you constantly hold back a steering wheel pull. If your tires are junk and you can live with the minor drift, do so. Otherwise, the only way to know for sure is to put it on an alignment rack.
FYI, the car is suppose to drift to the right slightly with a perfect alignment. For safety purpose's. Such as falling asleep at the wheel, rather go off the road then head on into traffic.

Well, my tires might need to be replaced in about 10k miles, but they still look pretty decent(no uneven tread wear).
If I hold the wheel lightly, it does pull a little bit, but it's not too noticeable. What I mean is, I didn't notice the pull until I let go of the wheel on the highway for the heck of it.

Ok, I filled up all four tires to 38PSI. It still has the slight pull when I let go of the wheel...
