Default 1992 accord ex auto tranny hard to get out of park 104k

I have a 1992 accord ex and it is really hard to put into park and to take it out. I have to pull it out with both hands sometimes. It has only 104k on it. Tranny shifts hard sometimes but I have heard these trannys arent that great. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

When you remove the center console you'll be able to check the shift interlock solenoid to be sure it is moving all the way, when you step on the brake.
You'll also be able to see the interlock and the adjustments.
FYI; The 90-97 Accord auto trans are the best Honda has made; They DO shift under positive pressure, not that GM MUSH shift.

i had the same problem and the problem wasnt in the shift interlock solenoid...what i did was got under the car and opened up the cable housing on the tranny and sprayed some pb blaster in there while having someone move it slightly.....it solved the problem on mine....good luck

the best thing to do is just replace the shift cable!! i had the same problem with mine and that was after i had replaced the tranny. i had to use both hands to pull mine out of park also! thought it was no big deal at first,then.....IT BROKE!!! word of advice, just replace it.
