Well, my only key to my car went missing and now I need to get a new one. I don't want to spend a billion dollars on a lock smith. I heard that if you go to a honda dealer with the title they can get you a key with the corresponding vin number. Has anyone ever had this problem and can chime in. I am looking to see if that info is true and how much am I looking at.

 

yes, i work at a honda dealership and you can go in with your vin and proof of owner ship, and parts dept can just cut you a new key by vin #. it probably costs you about $12. for me... i think its $3.
