Default Bad Piston Rings

I suspect that my piston rings are bad on my gsr. I'm going through oil decently quick. I haven't done a compression test yet, but this is just something I was curious about. Would it be more cost effective to have a shop replace the piston rings, or just buy a used assembled block and throw it on?

It all Depends on the condition of your motor Honestly if I were you Id let a shop do it because you should also replace the valve stem seals also a common problem in oil loss you should definitely do a compression test before anything a good read should be about 180 psi with no more than 10 psi difference per cylinder i could be wrong 130 should be the very lowest this is all in a regular honda repair Manuel.
