What to look out for when shopping a used AP1 S2000?
Hi, I'm in the market for an AP1 S2000 as a fun daily and "turns" car to compliment my "straight line" car. I was wondering what are the common ailments with AP1's seeing as how many of them are starting get up there in the miles. TIA.

This guy has it right. Make sure the car checks out on all the normal things such as wear & tear, oil changes, compression check, etc. Also make sure all the various electronic gadgets work nicely.
Also make sure you get the list of TSBs that go with that particular year S2000 and make sure they have all been addressed, or can be addressed without hassle by you. Some S2000's have had some wear issues on the convertible top (near with the latches come into contact with the top when it's folded down). Make sure that area is fine, as I'm sure most AP1s are out of warranty already.
