white ground wire

hey is the thick white wire on the engine harness with a circle terminal a ground wire?

nope. i believe it goes from the alternator to the fuse block. its hot

that's a different one i have that one hooked up. its one thats supposed to go somewhere around the passenger side. could it be for the starter?

the wire to the starter is black with white stripe - the white wire with ring connector is the alternator wire to the main fuse box - goes to the terminal right beside the wire from the battery - second terminal in from front of car
