ok... so, on a spur of the moment whim i bought a JDM SIR2 obd2 swap for my car without thinking too much into it. now that i have my z6 out and looking at the new motors wireharness.... it looks COMPLETE? well it only has like 1 plug for the shock tower and battery that s it! but still looks uncut. it even has the ECU plugs and cap that runs through the firewall. my question is....

where do i go from here? will that wireharness work? or am i gonna have to buy a obd2 wireharness from a gsr or b16 and then run a jumper to run the my p28 chipped? i would like to have nothing cut and use the b16 ecu that it came with.

and if i have to cut something, does anyone kno where to find the wiring diagrams for the z6 and the obd2 sir2 harnesses.

please help me! im at my wits end with this. wiring is not my thing right now lol.


i really dont want to be spending too much money thats why im asking you all this. and i really really want to drive my car. its been sitting for about a year with the z6 turbo blown up. now i can see my baby running in the near future and this is the only thing in my way!

 

Just get a 96-99 Integra GS-R engine harness, put it on the b16, and plug it up at the del sol shock towers and everything will work. Very very easy swap. you will need a obd1 p30 ecu or get your p28 chipped.

no it has to be a 96-99 obd2a Integra harness, 96-00 civic harness won't work

 

ok so. i have the motor in the car. it started and reved freely for 20 min. with me holding the throttlebody and 10 trys, because i hadnt hooked it up yet. well, now that i have almost everything done, I.E. lengthend shift linkage, chipped p28, new t-bracket. and now it doesnt start anymore... im buying new plugs for it cause they were black and toasted, but i seem to have spark

could it be becuase i still have the E-manage from my last turbo d16 still hooked up?

also i got a 98 GSR engine harness and pluged it up. but there are like 5 clips on the harness that dont go to anywhere on the engine. on the backside next to the intake mani.

any more help from anyone will be of GREAT APPRECIATION!!!!
