Front Suspension Clunking
I have a 98 GSR, recently I replaced the front sway bar endlinks cause one was broken when i purchased the car. Now when I am driving slower in a parking lot or at autocross I hear a loud clunk from the front suspension. I am thinking this is the sway bar hitting something but I'm not sure.
What do you guys think could be causing this. I wanted to get some ideas for stuff to look for before I go looking around underneath the car.
Also I have a set of Type-r springs to install but need to get new shocks/struts. What would you guys suggest? I was thinking AGX's but I'm not sure if I will even use the adjustability.

some cars have a rattling or popping noise from the front suspension at low speeds. In most cases these noises have been traced to the upper strut cushion attachment to the strut tower. The upper surface of the tower is covered with a seam sealer prior to painting and becomes compressed when the upper strut mounting nuts are tightened. When the sealer wears away, the upper strut mounting nuts can come loose Remove the upper strut mounting nuts one !!! i said one!!!at a time. Remove any built up seam sealer on the threads and tower, then reinstall and re-torque the nuts to 59 ft. lbs. or 80 Nm and do the the next two the same ...i also tightened the center nut by lossenig it a little the re-torque to 26 ft lb
