what do u guys recomend for an all motor f22? can u use h22 pistons in it? ive been readin a lot lately and thats what i want 2 do for my car, n/a single cam because i can pick up a full long block with wiring harness and ecu for less than $200. i plan on doing some hi comp pistons and some headwork. anybody done this before?

The H pistons won't work with the F's stock sleeves. The H22 Pistons are 87mm that is 2mm over the stock F series pistons. That extra 2mm would be pushing the limits of the stock cylinder walls. If your are going to look at sleeving your block for a larger bore I would look into a set of pistons made for the F series not the H22's. There are quite a few different cam and valve train choices you can look at. Check out Bisimoto.com. They can set you up with pretty much any combination that you would want for the F series engine.

What is your budget..... Getting into the heart of an F can set you back a few pennies!

not sure bisi makes a cam for the B1. I believe Rocket Motorsports does though. I know bisi does make cams for the F22Ax engines.

yoRt,
are you stuck on the F22B1? I only ask because you may want to look into the F22Ax engines as they have better flowing heads.

any of them really if you plan on replacing the cam.

Not saying you can't make power out of the B1, just that I believe people like Bisi have shown the F22Ax heads to flow better.

Just figured since you were buying a motor and not using an existing motor that the F22Ax may be another choice, should be able to find cheap.

Yort, can you tell us exactly what kind of numbers you want to make? Then I would be able to tell you your ideal motor on a budget (if you have one)

bisi makes itb's for that motor i believe, if you're interested in that, and pistons as well, come to think of it.

I'm pretty sure he sells the stuff on his site. However Kinsler makes the ITB's and Arias makes some of the custom pistons for him. In saying that, Yes, you can get pretty much anything for an F series engine from his shop.

You have to stop using one of your threads. Your asking the exact same question in both now. Pick one...... All Motor or Accord. Your All Motor thread has a larger audience as long as you keep it in the scope of the forum I would stick to that one.

I posted an answer to this question in your other thread.
