Score Card BOTI and NOPI Combined "Garrett vs. Borg Warner"
It seems like Garrett has some competition this year when it comes to the turbo to buy for allot of racers out there. So I thought it might be cool to have a rolling scorecard of victory's in both series as the season continues.

I think it is safe to say that both turbo manufacturers make quality products.
BW won the 07 NHRA Sport FWD East Coast, NOPI Pro FWD, NOPI Turbo Street and NHRA Quick 16 East championships last season.

For sure Brian.. I don't think anybody is making assertions that one is not as good as the other. But it will be nice to see as the year plays out who comes out on top...

If that means I can get turbo's in racers hands cheaper .. so be it..
.. I'm sure you stock everything that you sell

no, it means you make meager margins, less profit and go out of business quicker.

Most of the parts I do. 99% of parts that we sell, I actually touch and ship personally. Only thing I dont stock are stuff like $4500 Tilton Carbon/Carbon Clutch kits. You gotta be crazy to stock that. (actually I just happen to have one in stock right now, I dont usually)
I'll even kiss the product and leave a slober mark on it just to show that I shipped it personally.
haha jk

I use BW, but lets be real.. Dan is giving out free turbos likes there cookies. BW does not like 50+ PSI
a very fast evo broke 3 brand new Bull/BW turbos back to back running 50+ PSI
Now runs a GT42R and has had Zero problems 9.3 in the 1/4
BW does not have 360 thrust bearings
nor do they have the selection of housings Garrett offers. Hence all the machined housings floating around for BW.
No ball bearings cartridges...
1st it was turbonetics
then the craze was Precision turbos
then Norris started using the GT42 and then people Like Tony started to use the GT42
Now its BW thats the craze....
Point is Garrett is 100% behind the performance market.
AirWerks relys 100% on the aftermarket companies.....No diffrent then If I start a company making custom KKK or Holset turbos....

This post is worthless. Those who are successful will continue to be successful no matter what turbo they run. Lets have a score card of who offers more tech and tony or yoparts.
That too would be pointless.

There's so many combinations that have been succesful. Trying to stick a score card based on 1 part on the car, is pointless. its like piston vs piston, rod vs rod, clutch vs clutch, etc. Are we gonna start doing that now? haha.

Agree. These cars are all so different, that there's no basis for comparison unless the same car runs both brands of turbo. And there are some people here who have actually run both brands at their limit, and have also had differing results.
It honestly doesnt matter there soo many different combinations that may work for some and may not work for others. We all know a good amount of HT'ers are bandwagoneers so if something comes out and hype it created, everyone follows. On the other hand, how long has Garrett been doing this? Not knocking on BW at all as we have all seen there are great results for it.
I on the other hand personally think that you. Mr Tom@ YO PARTS is trying to promote something for your own benefit. We all know what you and your "major player backing all your sourcing and funds to be able to do what you are doing all its doing is ruining the parts sales in this industry. We all know you dont stock anything, you dont have any overhead like 80% of us out here, and cant provide TRUE tech support and product developement like a few other day. You and your "money bank" you have backing you up can continue spewing money out there to try to prove something, but in the end all your doing is hurting this industry more than helping it.

Last year we used Bullseye Power, we won the NHRA Sport Compact EAST Coast championship & got the BEST Tech support/Customer service we've ever got since we started in business!!!
So needless to say, after putting down the power with Bullseye Power Turbos, we will keep them on-board
Just my .02 cents!
