ENGINE HELP
I have a 90 civic with a 1.6 non v-tec, with a two point injection system. i have tested the spark, compresion, and its good.its getting fuel too. if i play around with it i can get it running, and when i get it to run the ecu throws the code 7(throtle angle). But when it starts to get up to temp it dies. And it wont start after that, i have to let it cool down. But even when i let it cool down, its still a bear to get it to start again. so if anyone can help........please do. thanks
yea. You have turn the ignition on. Using a multimeter, connect the black cable to ground of course. you have to measure the volts coming from the tps by checking the middle wire of the 3 that go into the tps. It should reqd .5 volts at idle and 4.5 to 5 at WOT. If you are reading more than .5 or less at idle loosen the screws on the tps and turn it a bit until you have reached the volts that are necessary.
