95' DX: water leak when it rains
I have an 95 DX model. On the driver' side, under the carpet, there was water after rain. It has happen 3 times, every time when it rains.
Totally it has like 5-10 cups of water, I would say after 10 hours rain.
I have checked if there is obvious leaking by sitting in the car during a medium rain. I do not see anything...
I checked the drain holes under the door, they looked perfect.
There are several suspects:
1. Moonroof, yes, the car has a moonroof, but without motor. I googled and was told that that there is a drain hole near each corner of the moonroof. Anybody can tell me where thes drain holes are located? I did not see the drain holes. Do I need to take apart the moonroof?
2. There is a hole near the rear wheel on the body on the driver's side. I think water is entering the boy through that, but a drain hole near that position is working fine. Are there other drain holes on the body near the driver's seat?
3. The car was involved an accident, and the hood and truck lid are out of shape. There are gaps between them and the body. Is it possible that water is entering the car through these gaps somehow? But the car was doing fine before the past winter.
I would really appreciate it if you can tell me how to find the water drain holes on/in the moonroof.
