Default MAP Sensor issue

I just finished swapping in a D15B8 into my 1997 Honda Civic EX and the car has an extremeluy high idle. Now I checked for a vaccum leak as well as adjusted the idle screw and nothing. I then checked the TPS and its fine, I then disconnected the MAP sensor and started up the car and it ran fine, it was idling a little lower (1200 - 1300 RPM) then when I plug it back in it begins to climb up to 2000 RPM once again. Anyone have any insight of what this issue may be? Thanks
