1993 Honda Civic DX Sedan - $850. Running, Come get it.
I'm selling my daily driver Civic. It's just not working out for me.
Here's the lowdown, i work a corporate job, and i just can't pull into work in this thing. Plain and simple. There is no other reason for selling except for this.
I bought the car for $650, i've put about $200 into this thing, and i'm just looking to get it all back. Price is NOT negotiable. If you don't like it, good luck finding a reliable daily driveable car for $850 somewhere else, get out of my thread.
Details:
- '93 Civic DX Sedan, Originally harvard blue, now painted metallic silver with Rust bullet due to rust issues. Car is now externally RUSTPROOF! I'll throw in whatever i have left of my $126 gallon of Rust Bullet to the new owner.
- 206K miles, Automatic so it hasn't been abused. Car runs great.
- 35+ MPG. this is awesome. I've had this car for over a month, and i'm still on my first tank of gas.
- All stock except for JDM Amber corners
and the Bad:
- Car was rusty in all the usual places. i Just painted over the rust (like you're supposed to do) As a result, some places were rusted through and they're still this way, but it's not going to get any worse, so that's good.
- Car was brushed. Rust bullet is very thick so you can't spray it. As a result of being brushed, you can see brush strokes. From a few feet back it's not bad, but up close you can see it. The solution: sand it, and spray on a topcoat. I was going to do this, but never got around to it.
- Driver side inner tie rod is bad, steering wheel has some play. It's been this way for some time, neither the previous owners nor myself ever got around to fixing this since it still drives fine.
- Front bumper is cut and unpainted. -- It's a 2/3DR bumper that was cut for a FMIC. i never painted it because i was planning on replacing it.
- No radio. Previous owner kept it. For $75 extra i'll throw in an OEM Acura CD player with radio code.
- Car DOES NOT COME WITH WHEELS. There are wheels on the car now, but they belong to the previous owner. I have THREE steelies. If you bring a 4th steelie you can take it home on that, otherwise you must bring your own wheels.
- Rear park lights do not work. I think it's the fuse, however i haven't checked it. i'll check it later.
- Exhaust has a few holes in it. so it's loud, but not horribly loud.
So there you go. that's the complete lowdown, not holding anything back, no surprises. I've disclosed everything i know about the car. Come get it.
