Nippon Piston Rings + are they tapered
Hi
I have just installed Nippon rings with CTR pistons in my B16A, i am burning some oil though which i think is because of pcv, their is blue smoke when accelerating hard. my compression is 210psi all the way across, this is with crane cams, but when installing the rings i cant rember if i checked to see if the rings go a certain way up, maybe because of a taper, I hope these rings have no taper, im such an idiot and this is giving me a big headache any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Ok thanks for the help i did stagger the rings, im thinking about stripping the engine down, because im not sure if i put them the correct way up, i have replaced the valve stem seals but not the guides or valves. The car runs realy good apart from burning oil under hard driving, which i can live with as long as it doesnt get any worse.
