Default d16a6 + spray???

i am planning on spraying my d16 that has about 60k miles on it. i am gonna spray something small like a 35 shot or something like that, a 50 at most. what problems am i looking at running into if any at all. i don't plan on going through a bottle a week or anything like that just occasional use. what do you guys think?

I think you should head on over To the Official Nitrous Thread and you should gain some quick guidance.

With the size you are suggesting though you are well in the safe zone for a healthy motor as long as everything normally necessary is checked / balanced - i.e. WOT Switch, possible fuel corrections etc etc

I have your same motor along with a 50 shot and I just use it occasionally and everything has done great!

sounds good, i most likely will be on a 35 shot and i'd like to get a window switch to help be safe.

As long as you have the additional fuel needed, and like others have said (good compression, everything else works, no CELs)...then you should be fine. I sprayed anywhere from 40~75 on my MPFI-converted d15b7. Both dry (40~60) and wet (50~75) with no issues as long as I had the additional fuel/fuel pressures. 35 you should be safe. Make sure to use the colder plugs as well.

I ran a 50 shot on my d16 you dont need to change your fuel system at all. The NOS kit should come with a bypass tee with a .042 jet insdide that goes in between for solenoids and fpr and intake manifold vaccum at wide open throttle it closes off the return line coming out of the fpr so you fuel rail has maximum pressure if the kit doesnt come with this or some other safety feature dont run it even if its a 35 shot. Also Traction is a must make sure to have some decent tires and a clutch. or you will be spining and burning your clutch
