Default Rim hub rings

I have a 5th gen and i just put on some 17 motegi's. I was told i don't need hub rings by the person I bought them from, but tirerack says I do. I have no vibration currently. I want to know if people used the hub ring or not?

I use them on my Volk TeE-37's. Prelude wheels are hubcentric meaning they center on that cap in middle of the hub as opposed to some cars center the wheels on the lugnut studs. There's some small play in the holes of my wheels and the studs, so I think that the hubcentric rings are a great idea. They fit perfect and are always exactly centered. They're only about $10 so it's worth it, wether you really need them or not.

No, they are not a necessity, but for $5-10 why not?

You guy are getting a deal, my local shop charges $ 25 per side, they take the car in, remove the wheel, make necessary measurements, and custom make the rings right on the spot, but it'll cost you $ 100.

You can get any size of hub ring you want on Ebay for $10 shipped....just have to research your sizes so you know what to order. Why pay $100?

just make sure they don't stay on the hub and try to use stock wheels...that ended badly...

but just call tire rack or wherever, tell them what wheels and car and get them

and like they said, as cheap as they are, why not?
