Do the rear LCA's work as jacking points?
Would like to know if the ITR hollow LCA can work as a jacking point for lifting up the wheel. On the "regular" integras the LCA is solid so it can be used as such.

Why wouldn't you want to use the jacking point just in front of the rear wheel well?

Can we have more "answering the question" and less "questioning my judgment"?
BECAUSE
If you use the LCA, you can
Lift the wheel off the ground with half a crank of the jack
Raise the suspension to the normal ride height while the car sits on jackstands (for clocking bushings)
Be able to lower the car back down without horribly pre-loading the rear wheels
I do this on my GSR all the time and it works great.

I have done it for this reason only (or for installing shorter coilovers). I would not personally lift the car with it, only for clocking the bushings/moving the LCA during suspension installation.

Yep, I do this too, but usually jack from the damper mount (so the jack isn't actually touching the LCA, just the bottom of the damper)

Yup, I use a piece of 2x4 in between

Judging by his question and assumption, that might not be a bad thing.

So it sounds like the LCA is too weak to support half the weight of the car.
I guess I'll have to rig up some kind of support piece around the shock mount.
Ok, well thanks to the three folks that gave useful answers.
