Default Over torqued lug nuts....need help..

I sorta need some advice.. Long story short, recently I've caught a flat and thought that its no big deal. Change the flat to the spare and drive the car to the local tire shop and get the old tire plugged up...

Here's where my situation gets somewhat complicated... As I was trying to loosen my Muteki lugs with the associated key, the key cracks and becomes useless. Remembering that I had recently changed my clutch, my mechanic definitely over torqued my lug nuts...

I then went to AutoZone and bought their "tuner" style lugs. just so that i can use the key that comes with the package.. So i can loosen my lugs thats still on my car. Got back... carefully applying pressure, i found out that I was slowly rounding off the new key that i had just bought... Key #2 becomes garbage....

Now, i reordered another set of Muteki lugs... just so i can use their key.. Hoping their key is some what STRONGER than the cheap ones from Pepboys and Autozone...

is there any advice that i get get in in trying to loosen my lugs... I dont want to buy another set of lug nuts....

Till it arrives.. the only thing i can think of is... spraying some WD-40 on it.... thats all i can think of... but i dont think it will work...

TIA

What shape are the locking nuts?

Could you use a gator grip socket?

they are spline drive... that's not the issue, b/c i have another set of lugs/key coming in. I just don't want to strip/crack the new key again.

i was hoping if there's a way to help loosen the lugs so that i don't break/strip the new key.

Try spraying some PB Blaster on the threads, if you can. If not, try heating up the studs with a torch.
