Default Bilstein shocks

Just had Tein HTech installed on a 97 LX. The stock shocks seem okay but I know it's probably due for new ones since they're the originals with about 107,000 miles. I interested in trying Bilstein mostly because I haven't tried them. The drop with the Tein H is:

Honda - Accord (1994-97) 4 Cyl---> F/R (-1.5 / -0.8)

These are the two I saw on the website and just wanted opinions on those that have tried either one of these. I think I'm leaning towards the HD as I want a little more sport feeling than stock, but not too stiff. I also want to make sure that the drop listed above would work with these and not void the warranty on the shocks. I checked Bilstein's website but didn't see any mention on this or even an email under contacts.

TWIN TUBE TECHNOLOGY
TOURING CLASS (TC)
Bilstein Touring Class original equipment replacement twin tube gas pressure shocks and struts feature the same German engineering
and quality as the world famous Bilstein Monotube Gas Pressure Shocks in a new competitively priced twin-tube design.

HEAVY DUTY (HD)
For most vehicles including full-size sedans, SUVs and trucks. These shocks provide improved handling and stability without
sacrificing ride comfort. They offer super damping ability that makes them ideal for heavy hauling for occasional off-road use,
while maintaining an exceptional “street” ride.

I don't know which particular Bilstein units will suit you best (ask the supplier, who will probably want / need to know what springs you have fitted), but you can't go wrong with Bilstein, they're just about as good as it gets with dampers (arguably even better than Koni). If you do find that the damping characteristics don't suit you, then they can be revalved.

KYB AGX is what I'd suggest for you.....

I've read through a few and I do have AGX on another car and they have served me well. On the Accord I won't be adjusting them at all so I really don't want those. I've pretty much settled on the Bilstein and probably the HD in those. I just wanted thoughts on those that have them if available and whether they will work fine and not wear out too quickly on the Tein HTech springs. I think they'll be fine since it's not too much of a drop. Thanks. I have Koni Yellow on another car and those are nice too.

You don't really have to use the adjustability lol. They're just a decent shock for what they are price wise.

I haven't messed with Blistens. So long as they aren't an OEM replacement spring (like the KYB GR-2) then they'll hold up.

Oh yes I do have to use the adjustability. It'll be there everytime I look at the car, calling me. Actually, on my other car I have left it once I found a setting I was happy with. They are a decent shock for the price and I may fall back on them once I start looking at prices. I really haven't priced the Bilsteins yet so I don't know what the diffrence in price will be.

Nothing will outlast Bilsteins, regardless of spring strength. KYB and Bilstein can't be seriously compared, the only possible reason to choose KYB over Bilstein would be initial cost...

I wasn't really comparing them, but for all he needs, some Tein lowering springs and didn't seem like any track use, the extra money saved from KYB AGX vs Blisteins is worth it and can be put else where.
