Oil in exhuast!

Oil in exhuast!
ok i just got my car 91 si hatch running
the setup is
d16y8 head
d16a6 block
d15b7 timing belt
i'm not running obd1 so theres not vtec
the problem
the car runs semi smooth but it leaks oil out of the exhaust manifold and smoke like hell when you drive off from a dead start.
what could these problems be.
