Nice display of driving style differences!

I got the impression that the CRX driver is not exactly breaking a sweat while the EG driver is driving at HIS limit! That EG definately has more speed than that, but I don't think that's the point.
oopsie, I just figured NH578 is the EG driver *OOPS*

I'm sure you had one fell of a fun ot there, but if I may add, try unwinding that steering wheel a bit sooner.

the CRX sure is nice and quiet for being stripped out...

the B18c seems to be puffing a little smoke now and again. I'll have to ask some folks at the track if mine does the same.

I can usually smell it a little on throttle lift, so I'm thinking I am burning some through the valveseals...

looks like you guys had a good time. The EG has more in it if your loosen up your line a little. some fo the turns were quite pinched. not critiqueing or anything, just saying...

how did the eg beat the rex in braking? thats tight though

i feel the eg driver was driving 2 agressive and therefor ended up driving 2 conservative being the car behind. the rex however didn't drive as defensively as someone in front should have but with the driver behind him not taking the fastest lines it doesn't matter which style he chose he still stay in front.

130whp rex FTW.

some very interresting input!

im the driver of the EG sedan & it was my 2nd track outing with the car.
coming from a DC2 ITR (drove it for a year) to this sedan doesn't require much adjusting of driving style but
it still lacks in a few areas which does require some getting used to.

the only excuses i can ponder up for getting beaten/not beating the CRX are:
-driver
-street tyres (EG) vs intermediates (CRX)

but even with the tyres considered, my car's still got LSD & thicker swaybars so it basically boils down to the driver!

having said that & even though it might not look like he's breaking a sweat, my friend is a damn good driver!

getting a 95whp (5000ft above sea level) CRX to run a little faster than a 135whp EG still requires a big-up!

so big-up to neal!

oh & bring your EK9 to the next one & in all fairness, i'll kick your ***!

Need to pratice heel-toe downshifting, take your hand off the stick shift (EG), two hands on the steering wheel! Perhaps get a roll bar so that you can get race seatbelts because there is too much upper body movement. You want to steer with your hands and arms, not with your body. Also under braking, you don't want to use your arms to brace yourself. Those are common bad habits that I see alot when teaching at race schools.
