Sorry bro, but I don't think anyone is stupid enough to post information like that... Especially with all the thefts which are occuring...

 

I agree, I don't think anyone will post up what they have or who makes it, but perhas some people will make reccomendations, i.e. get an Alarm with a pager, back-up battery, motion detector, fuel cut-off, shock-sensor, and that's the very minimum that you should get.

I have heard good things about Clifford Alarms.. Like what Chris stated, it is a good idea to get one with a paging feature. Also, LoJack seems to be a popular choice among ITR owners. Good luck with your decision.

 

Most people who have ITR's have security layers.

Layer 1 - Low-level Deterent
Clubs, Pedal Locks, Shift locks, LED's for alarms

Layer 2 - Mid-level Deterent
Alarms, hood lock, fuel cutoff, fuse removal, secure parking

Layer 3 - High-level Deterent
Lo-jack, paging alarms, protection from firearms or animals

Basically, try to pick about two items out of each layer. I personally add a fourth layer => prayer !

Remember, the above layers are "deterents". There is no such thing as theft prevention.

I'm in the motherland of JDM.

 

Top of the line Viper alarm, factory starter disable, and louisville slugger, and an undisclosed piece of machinery.

 

The louisville slugger is the only effective thing there.
A run of the mill install of a viper alarm is worthless.
Our factory systems are a even bigger joke.
