Default Intake Manifold help...

well my friend is putting a Skunk2 Pro-Series manifold with a 70MM throttle body. his b18c motor came with a blox intake manifold. he is giving me the blox manifold. is it worth putting it on? i heard i lose my butterfly something. i mean i cant beat a free manifold so im pretty much debating. i just have I/H/E running the stock TB be fine? or i should upgrade to a 68? i also have a B18c.

the blox manifold does add power, not as much as the skunk 2 or the edlebrock ones but it dang sure is better than stock....i once saw a dyno comparison on the net where they dynoed a all motor b18c5, between runs they changed the mani to the blox and edlebrock performer x......amazingly the stock mani(port matched to head) had numbers higher than the blox and just under the edlebrock. so if you can get someone dumb enough, hehe, to trade the blox for a ITR mani then do that.
